Six minute preview for The Amazing Spider-Man (bad quality)

http://vimeo.com/42875766

Honestly, I'm quite impressed. They really got Peter's awkwardness and Spiderman's sense of humor right.

Have you guys watched Men In Black 3? I did and it was okay, although the first was better. The multiverse concept was quite great though.

Yeah, I just watched it a few days ago. It was surprisingly good. The first was better though. I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

What movies are you guys looking forward to next month?

Prometheus is going to be EPIC and probably one of the year's best movies (along with The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises and The Hobbit).
Besides that, nothing else to look forward to for me. "Ted" does sound interesting though (Seth MacFarlane's directorial debut).

There's, like, 4. Why? Don't like them? Laughing I'm a huge fan.

I was really disappointed by Prometheus. In my opinion it was over hyped and the belief I had that it would be an absolutely incredible film ruined it for me, it was good, but not insanely so: It left too many questions unanswered, and it appears to only be a setup for a sequel, if a sequel ever happens.

I think that's the point. I haven't seen it yet but I think the director wanted it to leave unanswered questions to follow-up on later. I think it's just a storytelling method, not a huge drawback. And I hear most critics are comparing it to Alien, which is dumb. It's its own movie. Even the sequels are going to go even further away from Alien.

I actually don't believe it to be overhyped. It has great reason to be hyped so much, even if the result was just okay to many, it deserved all that hype. What's wrong with going crazy over a movie? Nothing, even if it's a little disappointing.

Anyway, I totally understand why fans were disappointed but at least it's a great addition to the franchise, which is rare nowadays (Indy 4, Terminator 4, and Rambo 4)

So movies are all going digital now, no more 35mm...It's actually kind of sad now. Haven't given it much thought until now but I'm going to miss the "film" look.

The only movie I'm looking forward to is The Dark Knight Rises. There wasn't as much fanfare about it as the last film. TDK had all sorts of viral campaigns and hype.

The TDK viral campaigns were amazing. TDKR doesn't have it as good but it's still strong (mostly just posters and stuff). I think you're wrong about the fanfare and hype though. TDKR has a lot of fanfare and it's been really hyped ever since its announcement (but there's also a fair share of hate).

Just want to ask, what do you think of Bane and Catwoman's costumes and their actors? Those two factors are what people are complaining about. Personally, from what I've seen, Anne Hathaway is a perfect Selina Kyle and a fine Catwoman and Tom Hardy's got a really menacing vibe as Bane so I think he'll do well. Catwoman's costume is fine except for the heels, the ears and the goggles. Bane's costume is just brilliant, though it could use some cues from the comic Bane.

Just finished watching TDKR. My mind was blown. Rises is the kind of movie that really blows you away. It's really, really action-packed. See it in Imax, it's worth it and is an AWESOME experience.

Compared to Dark Knight, Rises wasn't as iconic and Dark Knight was better (IMO) but Rises is nearly as good. Don't worry though, it has a very fitting end for Batman.

Congrats on putting a spoiler tag, Laughing .

Spoiler:

Remember the scene where Lucius Fox is talking with two guys who are checking up on a helicopter, that's the same type as Batman's? They mentioned that Bruce Wayne fixed the auto-pilot six months ago but he did it in secret.

Batman probably jumped out of "The Bat" and let the auto-pilot carry the bomb far from the city.
